Plaza desktop publishing is a small, personal, one-person desktop publishing and graphic design company owned and operated by Doug Barron. I provide an intimate and personal touch to all projects. I also work as an actor, which gives me a unique perspective and understanding to the special needs of the Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway theater & actors in the New York theatrical community.

Located in midtown at Manhattan Plaza, in the heart of the theatre district.

I have produced a variety of projects geared toward small businesses. Your project will always receive my utmost attention. Big design firms have greater resources, but they also have bigger clients, with Plaza DTP your project is always important, always a priority.

Doug Barron/Plaza desktop publishing is a recipient of the 1996 Local Hero Award for its “dedication and service to New York City's Off-Broadway Theatre Community” from The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (ART/NY) nominated by Primary Stages.

Appointments are required as Manhattan Plaza does not take packages, therefore I must physically be here to receive materials from anyone.

As I do work as an actor I am away occasionally. So please do not wait until the last minute for any work that is urgent.
